Automatic Vacuum Cleaner

This unique and utterly ingenious invention will save you all the hassle of bending double, and towing a hefty vacuum around the house. Using break-through technology the vacuum circumnavigates your room sucking up everything in its path, while avoiding major obstacles. Set it going before you go to bed and you'll wake up to a spotless house!

The Automatic Vacuum works effectively on wood, tile, laminate and carpeted surfaces with a self adjusting cleaning head that automatically traverses uneven floor transitions as it cleans. It's totally safe to have around children and pets, turning off automatically when picked up by the grab handle. The Vacuum comes with a "virtual wall" accessory which can be positioned in door ways or areas (up to 12ft wide) that users want to restrict the vacuum from entering. When in use this virtual wall will block the vacuum from exiting a room or entering a restricted area.

The Automatic Vacuum comes with a removable rechargeable battery that is charged through the Vacuum unit itself via an AC adaptor. It also has a removable dustbin where dust, dirt and anything else hoovered up by the vacuum will collect. Whilst a regular vacuum cleaner will suck up almost anything, the Vacuum won't pick up litter that's large in size - but it will thoroughly clean the floor of all dirt, dust and smaller particles.

Positioned on the top of the Automatic Vacuum are 3 different sized buttons that can be used to inform the on-board computer roughly of the size of room it has to cover. Once given this information the Vacuum will immediately set off around the room, working in various patterns to cover every inch of the floor. It will identify most objects and avoid them, however it may knock a couple with it's purpose built bumper from time to time and then change direction.

RoboPet

As a four-legged friend of the celebrated RoboSapien, he hasn't gone begging in the robotics department either. Programmed and controlled via a remote control, he is capable of both managed and autonomous behaviour. In autonomous mode he is able to detect and avoid obstacles in his path, which means you can allow him free roam of the house, (although you won't have to worry about him mounting the cream coloured couch, or anything else for that matter). He'll also react to sound and movement – cocking his head in a heart melting display of canine curiosity.

The remote control unit allows you to teach him special tricks, sequences and moves but the best thing about it has to be the fact that it operates like a virtual leash. Simply use the remote control to trace a path in front of Robopet, (up to a foot away), and he will follow, wherever you lead him. How cool is that? You can also use the remote control to discipline him, reinforcing good behaviour and discouraging bad behaviour. Robopet's personality will develop according to your parenting skills – if you praise him too much he will become spoilt and if you punish him too often he will become timid. If all that sounds a bit stressful just think of the pleasure you'll get when your friends comment on what a well brought up Robopet you have – 'far nicer than that yappy little ankle biter next door'.

If you've always wanted a pet but you live in a flat or you simply don't have the time to walk a dog regularly then Robopet is the answer. He's sufficiently receptive to make him a genuine member of the family but when you're really busy you can put him in sleep mode and he won't stare at you with sad, neglected - 'pleeeease take me for a walk' eyes.
