The Solar Backpack incorporates a unique highly efficient monocrystalline cell solar panel into its outer lining enabling it to absorb the energy generated from the sun's rays, transferring it into electrical charge which is then stored in a power pack and used to charge your hand held devices whilst you're on the go. The solar cell is always connected directly to a power pack where the generated charge is deposited and stored. This enables users to charge their devices even if there is no light available.
The backpack itself has an ultra soft padded back and a number of buckles attached to the shoulder straps that can be fastened to provide the user with greater comfort and ease of carrying. The backpack has a divider fitted inside for the use of securing either folders or a laptop. It also has a stationary compartment with velcro sealed pouch for loose change and a concealed zipped pouch to store a wallet, phone, iPod etc. The underside of the backpack hides a small pouch in which a rain cover is stored to protect the whole bag particularly when cycling in wet conditions.
The backpack includes adaptors for a range of mobile phones detailed below but is also capable of charging via USB, making it possible to charge all manner of hand held device such as iPod /Mp3 Players, some digital cameras, and selected PDAs.
